Inaugural Gala - Honoring the Life of Dionicio Morales

The Inaugural Gala will be the formal launching pad for the Dionicio Morales Foundation and will honor the life of Dionicio Morales and his lifetime of work on behalf of Mexican-Americans. The Gala is an important and inspirational evening that unifies community leaders, elected officials and individuals that work to advance the quality of life for present and the future Mexican-American generation: in the area of community service, business, corporate-America, politics, education, women's empowerment, immigration, pride in heritage and international relations. This gala will feature Dionicio Morales exceptional experiences and committment to the Mexican-American community. Cultural entertainment that evening will include an exclusive performance by Mexican Opera Singer Diana Jimenez (Salma Hayek's mother), Jarocho harp presentation and Poet Jose Grijalva.. Other speakers will address the significance of Mr. Morales' influence in their own lives, his unique impact within the Mexican-American community and the effect of his work in society as a whole as well as a dramatization of a few of Dionicio Morales' speeches.
Mexican cultural entertainment and delicious appetizers, representing various states in
Mexico will be provided. Along with raising funds for the foundation, this celebration will
educate the community about Dionicio Morales’ mission and life story, deepening the
appreciation of his pursuit of promoting pride in cultural heritage. The historical evening will
include a VIP reception for sponsors and offer special sponsorship opportunities.
